The GBRC is a member of Interval International’s Club Gold Exchange program which provides the opportunity to vacation anywhere, anytime through their exchange network of approximately 2,600 resorts in over 75 nations.

Are there annual maintenance fees?

Yes. The annual maintenance fees range from $750 to $1800 per year and include the cost of daily use of a Jeep, housekeeping, all utilities, cable TV, wireless internet service, insurance, vehicle operations and maintenance, interior maintenance and reserves.

What is the cost of a Grande Bay Residence Club Membership?

Prices range from $9,900 to $79,900.

What are the GBRC Membership privileges?

Depending on the terms of their membership purchase, GBRC Members have the right to use GBRC villas or send guests to use the villas for a check out housekeeping fee only.

What is the GBRC Jeep Club?

GBRC Members are also Members of the Jeep Club. Members, while on property, have unlimited , full time use of a full size jeep on a complimentary basis.

Should I make reservations for dinner every night?

With Winter being the busiest time of the year, you are encouraged to check to see if reservations are required for the restaurants you plan on dining at.

The busiest time of the year is the winter season, Mid-December to Mid-April, with February being the busiest month.

Will I have to exchange currency when I get to the Virgin Islands?

Annual Coral Bay Thanksgiving Regatta, St. John (November 30th)

With consistently sunny weather, rain showers in St. John are mostly short and normally occur in the early morning or at night.

When is hurricane season in St. John?

The official Caribbean hurricane season runs from the 1st June through to 30th of November.

Traveling to St. John

Will my cell phone work on the island?

Most cell phones will work on St. John, however, only AT&T and Sprint have no roaming charges in the US Virgin Islands.

Should you rent a vehicle or take taxis?

Renting a vehicle can sometimes be more economical than taking a taxi around the island. Ask about our Jeep Club and find out how you can become a member and have access to a Jeep to use throughout the island.

Do you need a passport for travel to St. John?

If you are a U.S. citizen, the U.S. government does not require a passport to travel to the U.S. Virgin Islands.

How do you get to St. John?

With no airport in St. John most visitors will fly into St. Thomas and take a ferry from Red Hook Terminal which is about 20 minutes to St. John or from downtown Charlotte Amalie which is 30 minutes by ferry.
