The Cinnamon Bay Trail in St. John connects Cinnamon Bay with Centerline Road. This 1.2 mile long trail reaches about 700 feet in altitude and is a favorite hiking spot among locals and tourists. Along the Cinnamon Bay Trail, hikers will enjoy anthuriums, beautiful trees such as the West Indian Locust, Kapok and Genip and spectacular views of St. Thomas and more. The many bay rum trees in the area will often fill the air with the scent of aromatic leaves. Mango trees, guavaberry trees and mammee apple trees also bloom throughout Cinnamon Bay Trail and hikers can come across ripe fruits during most of the year.
